“Financial Peace University” Classes Starting Soon

Coming to Weaver First United Methodist Church on January 29, 2017, FPU is a nine week course designed to help individuals and couples to manage their money. The course is open to all people regardless of age. It is a great way for couples to come together and it gives them a method to secure financial peace throughout their lives. WFUMC is offering this mission program to anyone in the congregation and the community of Weaver. We are limiting our initial class size to 10 couples meaning spouses, other family members, or friends.

This course is conducted via video by Dave Ramsey. Local coordinators are John Miller, Steve Kilgore, and Krystal Railey. Using “Baby Steps”, Dave will take you through emergency fund savings, cash flow planning, debt elimination, the role of insurance, college planning, retirement savings, mortgages, and the role of giving. The cost for this course is $93 per couple. Course materials can be obtained through the church office or any of the local coordinators.
